Bio
Pranksy is an NFT collector and influencer. In January 2021 he appeared on Fox 5 New York's evening news during a segment on NBA Topshot, at a moment when NFTs were gaining mainstream attention. He later created NFTBoxes, a project of his own to which he invited artists including Hackatao to contribute pieces.
In 2021 Pranksy's Place, a venue in Decentraland, hosted the SearchLight-curated exhibition “Mask Ephemera”, featuring work by Rebecca Rose and Joyce Korotkin. That August, he drew attention to an OpenSea listing purportedly by the street artist Banksy and entered a bid of 100 wrapped ETH, worth about $336,026, before its authenticity could be confirmed.
