The Storm This artwork was created as part of the "Widows of the Devil's Bend" collection.

Inspired by the black communities from Urabá Chocoano, the painter and sculptor F. Sánchez Caballero creates a series of intense portraits of a forgotten town that treasures legends. This town is a mythical place where a group of women who, in the midst of an armed conflict, were forced to deal with and overcome the pain of losing their husbands.

In this collection the painter chooses the river and rain as an artistic expression to illustrate the women’s tears and depth of pain.
