Raster exists to make digital art collecting delightful. We believe that the current collecting experience is broken in many ways, and that the potential to improve it is enormous.
Improving the collector experience matters. Collecting art is a meaningful activity in itself, and it grows the digital art market. A larger market means more income for more artists. Artists with the freedom to work on their own terms make better art. And better art enriches us all.
We've been building Raster since the start of 2025 and are only scratching the surface of what's possible. If you want to help out, our open positions are below.
Don't worry about ticking all the boxes. If you are convinced you are the right person, we want to hear from you.
- Front-end expert who can work end-to-end: your core strength is front-end but you're willing and able to follow features through the full stack when needed.
- Familiar with the digital art space: you have a good sense of the on-chain art landscape and understand how collectors behave.
- Great UI design taste: you have a clear point of view on what good interfaces look and feel like, and care about the details that separate a good product from a great one.
- Experience building consumer products: you have shipped software that people use day-to-day and understand the difference between an interface that just looks good and one that is genuinely a pleasure to use.
- Self-directed and independent personality: as long as there is high-level alignment, you enjoy managing your own work and making decisions without waiting for permission.
- Bonus: based in London. Michael and Jan typically spend one day per week working together in London.
