This piece comes from a retrieved film strip I shot back in 2001.

What you see here is a clown carousel in a circus, captured in a fleeting moment and then forgotten in a drawer for decades.

The film was badly stored, left to decay, and over time dust, scratches, glitches, and distortions ate away at the image. He aged to perfection, you could say.

What survived seems more powerful than what was once whole.
