Watching the sunrise is a timeless experience. Throughout our lifetime we may carry out this natural moment over and over again, and although unique to the individual, we can all experience hope, love, and the eternal beauty of nature.

“Water Meditations” is the genesis work by the Gentle Light Collective. This series of six meditative audiovisual works encapsulate the very spirit and purpose driving our creative process; nature, beauty, and the pursuit of transcendence.

Each piece created is the result of early morning meditation rituals, capturing the most incredible sunrises and peaceful moments of the day. The imagery has been slowed down using high-quality Ai processes to appear almost like a still image, requiring the viewer to concentrate on the vision and be in the present moment.

The layers of sound design and music are created using Ableton Live software combined with ocean recordings captured on a stereo field recorder. Using soft synths as the primary focus the purpose of each track is to slow the mind and provide relief from anxious or stressful thoughts. The combination of these deep dreamscapes and tranquil tones transports the viewer to a state of blissful peace and tranquility.
