Cardiac arrhythmia occurs when the heart's impulses do not work properly. There may be no symptoms. When symptoms do occur, they may include palpitations, chest pain, fainting or dizziness, and the urge to fly away. If necessary, treatment may include anti-arrhythmic drugs, medical procedures, implantable devices, surgery or a good trip.
