In dreamtime my tears left trails in the dust that masked my face... first it was from the howling wind that bellowed as if every ancestor's voice screamed Mother Earth's pain. Then the heated breath as the terrifying sky opened to form a gapping mouth... the nectar of fury and suffering began to spill from it.

The machines, of men who sought only to puncture and wound the earth for their addiction, groaned under the oppressive heat, shuddering as the fate could not be escaped.

I didn't want to look away, I wanted be be witness and as I stood firm a chorus of all Life's voices chanted the mantra.... "you reap what you sow" to the drums of thunder that rolled.

"Let the healing begin" I spoke to myself
