This work explores the various rituals associated with death—how we honour, decorate, and mourn our departed in places of reverence. The Western world has lost many of its death rituals, along with our intimate connection to it. I have spent much of my life in its company.

Created using manganese, a naturally occurring ore that I collected while living on Groote Eylandt, along with local earth from Bulman.
