Although the scientific method is an example of a remedy, scientific knowledge has often been shown to suffer from this epistemological problem.
Probably this behaviour gives some evolutionistic advantage, expecially to restricted groups of sapiens very busy in the harsh and boring task of fulfilling their stomaches every day. Are art, religion, politics and second hand cars a desirable effect of this?
