Life is full of little surprises. Verrassing (Dutch for surprise) is a generative work of art. A grid of ever changing shapes resembling insects (butterflies, moths, beetles), flowers, or religious, spiritual symbols. In some cases the shapes interlock, creating new patterns.

What do you see? What does it remind you of? What does it tell you?

The hash determines the grid layout, the colors, the (number of) shapes, the line width, and the background color. Some outputs, like black on white are rarer than others.
