It takes patience and a dedicated practice to perform Paschimottanasana at its fullest expression. It can take years, or even decades, to reach the deepest variation of the pose.

This pose is one takes patience and practice in order to allow resistance from the body to fade away. I am always honored to not only photograph a yogi's practice, but to share that space. A nude shoot is even more vulnerable for the yogi or model. My job is to allow them to drop their walls and masks in my presence and establish a connection of trust.
