In this piece, I chose to freeze history’s most iconic moment of triumph and strip it down to its core separating the flesh from the bone. While the world sees pure jubilation in that famous kiss, I saw the brutal loyalty of time.

The skeleton in the sailor's arms is not merely a casualty of war; it is a representation of a devotion so unyielding it forces even death to wait. By framing them against a cosmic halo, I’ve pulled this embrace from a mundane street corner and cast it into the void of the universe. True longing cannot be contained by earthly time; it remains suspended in a silent cycle among the stars.

To me, this work is not a celebration, but a confrontation:
"Love is the final residue that remains when everything else has withered away."
