- Translucent Plastiverse - Lost in the Surreal - Caught between the tangible and the virtual, these small beings drift through a world in transformation.
Starting from hand-crafted playdough figures, the project “Translucent Plastiverse - Lost in the Surreal” traces their evolution through a series of AI-assisted translations into digital 3D creatures. With each step in the process—from modeling to reinterpretation and animations—the figures become further abstracted from their original material identity. What remains is a whisper of plasticity, a hint of naturalness, and a good dash of surrealism.
Bringing the creations back into the “natural world,” the transformed entities move through nature scapes, like post-organic glitch organisms lost in the Garden of Eden. Between jungle and plastic, software and sentiment, they speak of a world where the analog merges with the digital, creating a futuristic abstraction—fragmented, transfigured, and deeply emotive.
