Description

In this virtual space, time ceases to be a linear succession and becomes pure intensive multiplicity. The horizontal lines do not represent time—they are time that stratifies itself, folds upon itself, unfolds in differential velocities. Each row is a plane of consistency where historical events enter into relations of speed and slowness, creating zones of variable intensity. Repetition is never identical: the infinite flow of timelines produces difference through repetition, a Nietzschean eternal return where each iteration generates new configurations. The colored rectangles, graphic patterns, flickering numbers—these are abstract signs, deterritorialized from their original meanings, functioning as desiring-machines that produce ever new connections. The grid does not impose order, but creates a rhizome: every point can connect with any other, each decorative element is a node in a non-centered network where there is no hierarchy but only plateaus of intensity. The real-time clocks introduce Aiôn—the indefinite time of the pure event—which coexists with the Chronos of linear history. Color does not decorate: color is affect, a body without organs that produces pre-subjective sensations. The chosen palette deterritorializes habitual perception, creating blocks of sensation that exist independently of the observer. This is not an archive of history, but an abstract machine that produces history as pure virtuality—a transcendental field where each moment contains all moments, where past and future collapse into an intensive present that never ceases to differ from itself.
