'this was once my body' is a collection of works utilising GANs, machine learning models, data conversion and other uncontrolled digital processes that take human bodies and distort break and destroy them.

As we invest more and more of our self and our emotions online, our life, identity and our essence is gradually becoming scattered across the net and planet. We are living pulses of light, existing almost entirely in a cloud all around the world.
