Third World: The Bottom Dimension is a fantastical and disorienting PC game by artist Gabriel Massan and an international team of collaborators including Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro, Novíssimo Edgar, LYZZA, Carlos Minozzi, Masako Hirano, Marcinho Manga, Ralph McCoy and Alexandre Pina that uses worldbuilding and storytelling to investigate contemporary Black Brazilian experience. Developed from the artist’s research into decentralisation, ecology, and the critical role that collective memory plays in constructing futures, Third World convenes Massan’s collaborations with a wide network of artists, technologists and thinkers.
