Sirius A is the brightest star in the night sky. In many ancient civilizations, it was believed to be the source of life and the creator of our sun.

The story I want to tell in this collection is a journey to the source of life by creating a 3D effect with 2D illustrations with AR technology, that contain symbolic meanings inspired by 4 basic elements. Earth, Fire, Air, Water.

I was inspired by ancient civilizations and astrological symbols in Mesopotamia while designing the busts symbolizing the 4 elements. I did not add expressions and genders to the characters to show the symbols in detail.

A poem about Sirius A: Sirius rises late in the dark liquid sky on summer nights,

Star of stars, Orion’s Dog they call it,

Brightest of all but an evil portent,

Bringing heat and fevers to suffering humanity.
