“When memory begins to disappear, the heart still tries to hold the shape of what was once home.”
Personal Story I created this artwork as a reflection of what it feels like when the mind becomes an uncertain place to live in. The room is not just a room — it is an inner space, a private world where memory, sadness and identity begin to blur. The seated figure represents the part of us that remains still while everything else quietly falls apart. The smoke stands for confusion, emotional exhaustion and thoughts that cannot be held in place. Beneath it all, the golden roots are important to me. They represent the hidden truths of the self that still wants to survive, connect and remember, even when the mind feels fractured. For me, this piece is about isolation, but also about the fragile beauty of endurance.
