The kingdom was a prosperous one, and the people were happy. The king and queen were loved by their subjects, and all was right in the world. However, there was one problem: the kingdom was plagued by a terrible dragon. Every year, the dragon would come and demand a tribute of gold, or else it would destroy the crops and livestock. The king and queen did their best to protect their people, but they could not defeat the dragon.

One day, a brave knight came to the kingdom and said that he would kill the dragon. The king and queen were sceptical, but they agreed to let him try. The knight rode off into the forest, and sure enough, he returned a few days later with the dragon's head. The people were overjoyed, and they celebrated the knight's victory.
