I have spent over half my living in a state that can get overlooked by those who have not experienced its beauty. A state that, to many, is only known for its worst characteristics instead of its best. A state that throughout my life has brought questions to others if it is even part of this country. New Mexico gets forgotten within the overlying biases that surround its image and are created in the world of cinema and film. The 'land of enchantment'' is consistently described as the “land of entrapment” and makes you feel like you are stuck here instead of deciding to be here. This collection is to break those stereotypes, biases, and downright wrong understandings about what this place is. It is The Enchanted Land and its diverse beauty deserves to be the first thing people think when they hear about New Mexico.
