This piece is part of Frederik Trovatten's “Day of the Dead” collection. 

This black and white photo essay consists of 20 photographs, captured in Mexico City and Mixquic, over the span of 4 years, during The Day of the Dead celebrations.

A number of these pieces are currently being exhibited at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden. One is featured on National Geographic’s coverage of The Day of the Dead.

25% of all profits are donated to Save The Children Mexico, focused on children’s education, children’s health, and fighting child exploitation in Mexico.
