My own interpretation of the mines of Moria (Khazad-dûm). After reading the Silmarillon I felt strongly inspired to create a mine deep in the mountain. Fire, ashes, shadows and rocks are what abounds there. Only a few have dared to enter the mountain. Well, deep down there live the Balrogs, beings made of flames and shadows. Protectors of the most precious gems and stones of Middle Earth.
