It all started in Japan. I was extremely excited about studying there since I got a prestigious scholarship to pursue my dream. With those high hopes, came the storm. My psyche and confidence just went downhill with each week passing. Busy life in a stressful and toxic work environment. To cope with stress, I decided to buy myself a camera and learn photography. Hoping it will help me feel better. Every time I feel stressed, I take my camera, ride the earliest train and travel around the Kansai region. There, I was able to appreciate the tiny details of a certain place. And those tiny, beautiful things—the rocks, the water, the sun—pushed me to rise up, chase, and capture them. This is a summary of my life living in Japan. Specifically, these are some of the first images I have ever taken using my own camera. My camera accompanied me through dark times then uplifting me with the excitement to travel and get better with photography.
