Swim Call is an ongoing series of photographs I created to celebrate leisure swim culture. In 2019, I printed the first Swim Call newspaper and showed the work in SoHo.

This is the image that inspired Swim Call. Shot in Ortigia Sicily, this is pretty much the definition of leisure swim culture to me. In the summer it's so hot in Ortigia that all you can do, really, is wake up and go to the beach in the morning, nap during the day, and return to swim in the afternoon. It's absolute bliss.
