The Brawler was, in many ways, both a simple and complex man all at once. He was simple in that his only thrill in life seemed to be battle; we never saw him as happy as when he was either punching another pirate in the face, or even getting punched himself. He was also complex in that, well, his only thrill in life seemed to be battle. When he wasn't in the midst of a fight, he would be deep in his cups, brooding and intense; we knew to stay away from him during those quiet hours.
