Analogy is the rhyme of time; it is the mechanism by which the universe insists on the same idea until we understand it. A resonance: an object that rests on paper and leaves a mark that is no longer the object, but its blue memory.

In this repetition, time ceases to be a straight line and becomes a cycle. It is fixing the moment in a choreography of forms that recognize each other.

By stripping nature of its polychromy, cyanotype reduces reality to a pure dialogue between light and absence.
