Stories from Other Worlds is an artistic project exploring the complex and contradictory relationship between humankind and the universe. Through an imagery that merges visionary atmospheres, science fiction references, and reflections on the present, the artist stages the hypothesis of humanity in constant expansion, endlessly seeking new worlds to conquer. But conquest raises a troubling question: what happens when humankind—unable to free itself from its warlike and self-destructive nature—lands on distant planets? The work suggests that without a profound change in our mental and social paradigms, the invasion of exoplanets would only replicate Earth’s destiny: war, exploitation, inequality, destruction. The universe thus becomes a mirror of our condition: a boundless horizon that may be a place of rebirth or of doom. The artworks offer no answers but open questions: will we be able to transform our destructive legacy into an opportunity for peace, equity, and respect for life? Or are we destined to repeat our mistakes, up to the inevitable cosmic end? Suspended between the present and a distant future, Stories from Other Worlds invites us to reflect on the destiny of humanity, the meaning of its presence in space, and the responsibility that binds us to the universe itself.
