This cyanotype was created during the Bosque Gracias workshop, an artistic residency located in Epuyén, the epicenter of the wildfires that are currently threatening Argentine Patagonia.

Each small leaf, each element visible in the image, was taken from this magical forest, which sadly burned in flames and lost everything. That is why this piece is a treasure: a relic, a memory, a record of what once nested there — of what was planted and harvested.

It is also a living seed, one that will rise again from the ashes through work and cooperation.

Because if there is one thing I learned at Bosque Gracias, it is that we plant a seed, we water it together, we watch it grow, and we care for it and protect it collectively.
