This piece was a collaboration with Rocio Mio and Benito during the Bosque Gracias 2026 residency. We filmed Benito playing in the forest and then glitched the footage together with Rocio Mio. She handled the analog glitch while I worked on the digital glitch and the image processing. I could have spent hours glitching our footage with Rocio, but the fire was imminent, and they had to prepare to protect Bosque. By collecting this work, you are helping rebuild Bosque Gracias—so that artistic residencies can return, so Benito can play in the forest again, and so more pieces like this can be created.
