Description

A shot from a collection of recent photos from the first few mornings when I witnessed hoar frost again.

The delicate shapes revealed by the frozen branches always catch my eye and fuel my imagination. Trees turn into gnarly creatures, even more magical than in other conditions. Flat color palettes and glowing shapes, saturated moss in between of cold and frozen wood, covering branches and trunks like a green blanket, lit tree tops and a sense of life brought into the darkness by the low autumn sun. Is there any kind of beauty you cannot find in these dark days of the the cold season, approaching our hemisphere?
