I read that 35,574 veterans experienced homelessness in the United States on a single night in January 2023. The people who protect and serve often come home with problems that as a society we look down upon. Our friend Pops who was homeless was a Vietnam vet. He left his family and went from New Jersey area to Florida to Ohio and ended up in Tennessee. I asked him why he left and he said he didn't know. He was just different inside.
