Mary has been accused of Witchcraft (by puritan definition, an evil servant of the “devil”). Mary is what you would call an "outsider" that lives on the edge of town in a peaceful cottage. She marches to the beat of her own drum; she is a healer and a wise woman. She has helped countless people in the community with healing ailments, tinctures, and remedies for aiding a broken heart. She is a very selfless woman who only wants to share “The Sight” gift with people in need. She does not fall in line or submit to any rules that are set by the puritans. Her kindness and gifts have returned to haunt her on this day.
