My photography is primarily black and white, this rare color photo was taken in Shibuya, Tokyo in February 2020 - just before the COVID pandemic hit changing the world forever, but also just before the NFT boom. William Gibson calls Tokyo a "mirror world" where at a distance things look familiar but the closer you get the more distorted reality takes shape and I like to this this reflection image captures a bit of that. I'm releasing it as a limited open edition on September 14, 2022 - Ethereum Merge Day as it seemed a fitting transition from one point to another.
