Made in the remote Australian bush - imbued with the stories of ancient women, witches, earth mothers and guardians of the dead.

This work represents a turning point in my artistic career. It is the first time I have made a self portrait, including myself in the work, embodied the dead. Many years from now I believe I will look back on this piece and the moment of inspiration that changed my work forever.
