Description

"Gheime" counts as a historical recipe of Iranian food culture and is one of the most delicious stews and dishes in Iran, being served beside Iranian rice. Ingridient:

  • lamb 500 gr.
  • onion 1 big
  • split pea 1/3 cup or 2 tbs
  • tomato paste 2 tbs.
  • turmeric 1 tbs.
  • salt, black pepper , cumin, rose powder, paprika, red pepper 1/3 ts. (Each)
  • dried lime or lemon for sour taste
  • saffron (liquid: 1/2 ts.)
  • corn oil or other oil for preparation 3 tbs.
