Asemic poetry draws attention to the ‘matter’ of inscription,
showing the mark of the sign itself, freed from the need to mean:
free enough to be nothing, but itself.

The computer, when it writes, does not know what it means
to write — and yet, nevertheless, it still goes on writing,
and what it writes still makes things happen….
