Sint Maarten, Kingdom of the Netherlands, on the southern part of a Caribbean island shared with Saint Martin, a French overseas collectivity. The Island features span lagoons, beaches and salt pans.

I loved the contrast of this shot.

This photo was taken on a Samsun Galaxy A71 5G cell phone camera and edited on Photoshop. When I first transitioned to digital photography back right around 2000 the cameras were bulky, glitchy and the resolution was VERY low, it is amazing that most cell phones today have better cameras, are far lighter and are able to take some amazing photographs. So, for this project, I wanted to just use my 3 year old cell phone camera to show you the world as I adventure out to see as much as I can of it this year, 2023. Sure I am kind of hoping Samsung will see my photos and decide to upgrade me, LOL In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this adventure with me.

Yes, I did choose to go outside the box on the size. 5X3 ratio/ 4800 X 2880 pixels, no particular reason except it seemed the right thing to do.
