"When I laid my eyes back on you, I knew this was where I was meant to be"

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to move away from home. I always felt that inner desire to wander elsewhere. So the minute I could leave, that's exactly what I did. It wasn't until a decade later due to unforeseen circumstances that I arrived home to the motherland. I returned a little bit lost and deflated. So I decided to take some time exploring my backyard and this is when everything changed.

This collection is what took me on a journey of rediscovery and reconnection. Not just with the place I hadn't seen in so long and the people I'd missed so much but more importantly, with myself. Through returning home, I simultaneously found my two biggest passions and what I wanted to pursue in life. These images represent the journey of re learning who I am and where I want to be. I hope they inspire others to create the space to figure out their dreams, and go for them, whatever they may be!
