Stillness during sunrise. Just a slight breeze as if it were the calm before the storm. I crawl out of my tent and gaze out over the horizon and am speechless at what is unfolding before my eyes.

A full moon setting over the ancient glacial landscape created what felt like a painting in reality. The complexity of the landscape intertwined with the simplicity and cleanliness of the icefield combined to radiate a feeling of calmness and surrealism. There have been very few moments where I felt truly at peace, but this is without a doubt one of them.

Alaska truly is ultimate frontier for creativity because, in every direction, a masterpiece awaits to be captured.
