My daughter's favorite Greek myth is that of Persephone; so it's only fitting that her tragic return to Hades be portrayed in one of our collaborative works. Scholars of Greek iconography may take issue that she is not carrying a sheath of grain, but as my daughter might say, "Persephone's pissed as hell that she's got to go back to hell. She's not carrying a f#ckin' sheath." (language, daughter!). What about her head? Why is it missing?! Clearly, this is an intentional visual metaphor for how her mind is not there but is, instead, sorrowfully longing to be with her mother, Demeter (or, it could just be because that's how the AI created her--we're not tellin').
