The concept of primordial soup was first proposed by Russian biochemist Alexander Oparin in the 1920s, and it suggests that the building blocks of life, such as amino acids and nucleotides, were present in Earth’s early oceans and were eventually assembled into more complex structures, eventually giving rise to the first living cells.

Just as cells combine to form complex organisms, AI algorithms can combine these building blocks to create unique and complex works of art. The process of AI art generation can be thought of as a form of “primordial soup,” where building blocks are mixed and rearranged to create new forms of art.
