Inspired by abstract expressionism and renaissance portraits, I continue my exploration of shapes, shadows and colour in order to capture a personification of the pool of thoughts and emotions, the abstractions that guide me when I embark on a creative endeavour. In ancient times, some refer to this guiding energy as "daemons".
