The women of Çomakdağ Village of Milas district have been trying to keep their traditional culture alive for 500 years with their traditional silk dresses and jewellery.

I took this photo at a wedding in Çomakdağ in 2017.

What were these women thinking? Maybe they were thinking about their youth, the passing of time, the fading colors, those who left and maybe those who did not return. They were getting old, even if they didn't want to admit it. They did not hear the noise of the wedding and were dreaming.
