i think the hardest parts about grief are the nights. when everyone is asleep and the only thing that keeps you company are instagram reels or how i met your mother's terrible sexist jokes. it's the darkness that dances with that one lampshade that lights the kitchen. it's the feeling of rocks falling down in your chest. it's thinking of him, imagining what he would say if he saw you in the state that you are in right now. "Benti, what's wrong?". it's the thoughts buzzing like an annoying fly that will not leave you alone. the loneliness that dawns on you. it buzzes it buzzes until it also leaves you. and then it just feels empty
