This is our second exploration into creative randomness. We've been experimenting with lines and tiles to create patterns that overlap and generate line superpositions to form a labyrinth. We've carefully crafted each colour combination with the goal of making them striking on both white and dark backgrounds. To speed up our process, we've created a utility plugin to extract the colours. Each artwork is a pattern that repeat perfectly.
Our inspiration comes from the master of drawing, Escher, particularly his work on translation, and Kasimir Malevitch for his minimalist approach. The result is a simple generative art with infinite combinations, as we strive for a deterministic approach to randomness.
