This illustration is based on a poem by an Iranian poet named Shahriar. The translation of a part of this poem is as follows. "I placed my youth like a candle in front of me to find life, not only did I not find life (I could not live happily) but I also lost my youth. Youth is likened to a candle." This work was created with a brush on a paper dipped in tea. It took 1 day from initial design to implementation.
