A Preliminary Vision and the Presence of Insight

There was Perhaps a Preliminary Vision Tested in a Flower 1883 lithograph by artist Odilon Redon, one of the many pieces of Redon’s that influenced my start as an artist more than 50 years ago.

Through vision we first experience and study the world and from this develop visual imagination. Our world is not just built on physical principals but on the spirit of the creative vision of its artists.

Vision comes in more ways than we know or hope to imagine.
