NIGHT METROPOLIS - A generative artwork inspired by Genuary prompt "A City" by EditArt.

From above, the city becomes a circuit board of desire and exhaustion. Lit windows in endless skyscrapers mark spaces where people work late into the night, chasing rent, chasing meaning. Vehicle lights streak across arterial roads—the perpetual commute, the delivery driver's route, the Uber dash between gigs.

Neon signs pulse their commercial promises while alphanumeric characters drift like fragments of notifications, advertisements, and the digital noise that colonizes every moment of urban existence. Traffic lights command: stop, wait, go, consume, repeat. The geometric grid underneath reveals the infrastructure that both connects and traps us.

Small pockets of green glow stubbornly—nature commodified into "wellness" and "self-care," reminders of what we've paved over in the name of productivity. Light blooms radiate outward, beautiful and overwhelming, like the city itself: seductive, exhausting, inescapable.

This is the city that never sleeps because it can't afford to.
