We live, every day, showing ourselves a movie about the world around us. In fact, we are living projectors, but when you think about the viewer or try to figure out which of you is watching this movie, it becomes uncomfortable. There is probably some kind of general cinema, most likely old Jung wrote about this when he formulated his collective unconscious.
