This painting is an exploration on the nature of self, identity and the inner experience of transformation despite internal conflict. I reflect on my being. Ever changing, yet rooted in self. I've been shaped and reshaped from within and without. I find myself on the precipe of change, a moment where I am both vulnerable and incredibly caught between what was and what I could become. It is intense, disorienting, but ultimately a necessary act of self-discovery.
